Dosai

Dosa:




Ingredients:
Idly rice(Parboiled rice)-4 cups
Urad dhal-1 cup
Methi seeds- 2 spoons
Cooked rice- 5 table spoons
Salt

Method:
1.Soak the rice and dhal separately overnight. Put the methi seeds along with the dhal
2.Grind the cooked rice first for 1 minute . Then put the soaked rice and grind it to fine batter.
3.Grind the soaked dhal separately for about 35 minutes only
4.Mix both the batter together and allow it to ferment .
5.If the Batter is too thick add little water and dilute it. Pour the batter in the preheated pan and spread it into a thin big circle.
6.Pour 1 spoon of oil around the dosai and over it with the lid. By doing so, upper side of the dosa gets cooked by steam.Once the lower side turns light brown take it out of the pan and fold it.
7. Serve hot with chutney or kurma.
