Rava dosai

Rava dosa:


Ingredients:

Sago(rava)-200 gms
Standard white flour(maida)-200 gms
Yogurt - 1 cup
Green chilly -3
Ginger-small piece
Pepper-1tsp
Cumin seeds (jeeragam)-1 tsp
Curry leaves and coriander leaves
Salt-2 tsp

Method:
1.Soak rava in 2 cups of water for 1/2 hr.
2.Add the white flour ,curd,circularly sliced chillies,finely chopped ginger,salt to the above rava and mix with water.
3.Add pepper,cumin seeds,finely chopped curry and coriander leaves to the batter.
4.The batter should be thin (watery).Spread the batter circularly in the dosa pan starting from corner ending in the centre.
5.Put some oil along the sides of the spread and close the dosa with a lid.
6.After few seconds turn the dosa and serve it hot and crispy.
7.Its enough to bake the dosa on one side as the batter is thin .Now hot and crispy rava dosa is ready to be served with chutney.
