Boys Scarf

STRIPED SCARF :
I made this nice scarf for my nephiew Bharathan ,he is eight years old.This scarf is made of 100% wool with stripes.
Materials:
3-50gm balls of 100% wool with stripes
This scarf is made in single pieces
Abbreviations:
Inc: increase; psso: Pass slip stitch over; sl: slip; K2tog: knit 2 sts together

Instructions :
Cast on 5 sts and knit 1 row
Inc in first st,sl1,k2tog,psso,inc in last st
Knit 1 row
Inc in 1st and 2nd st ,k1,inc in last two st
Knit 1 row
Inc in 1st st ,k1,sl1,k2tog,psso,knit to last st,inc in last st
Knit 1 row
Inc in 1st st,k3,sl1,k2tog,psso,knit to last st,inc in last st
Knit 1 row
Inc in 1st st ,k5,sl1,k2tog,psso,knit to last st,inc in last st
Knit 1 row
Inc in 1st st,k7,sl1,k2tog,psso,knit to last st,inc in last st
Knit 1 row
Inc in 1st st ,k9,sl1,k2tog,psso,knit to last st,inc in last st
Knit 1 row
Inc in 1st st,k11,sl1,k2tog,psso,knit to last st,inc in last st

Repeat it until you get 29 stitches and start the stockinette st(1 row knit ,1 row purl) on the RS and continue till the length measures 30'' and start to shape the end as follows

K2tog, K11, sl 1, K2tog, psso, K to last 2 sts, K2tog.
Knit 1 row.
K2tog, K9, sl 1, K2tog, psso, K to last 2 sts, K2tog.
K 1 row.
K2tog, K7, sl 1, K2tog, psso, K to last 2 sts, K2tog.

K2tog, K5, sl 1, K2tog, psso, K to last 2 sts, K2tog.
K 1 row.
K2tog, K3, sl 1, K2tog, psso, K to last 2 sts, K2tog
