CHICKEN BIRIYANI


CHICKEN BIRIYANI:

This chicken biriyani tastes very good with thalcha and boiled egg.


INGREDIENTS:

Onion -1 (big) sliced lengthwise
Tomatoes-2(big) cut into 4 pieces
Ginger garlic paste -1 tsp
Salt
Basmati rice-2 cups
Chicken-500 gms
Mint leaves and coriander leaves-1 cup
Green chilly-2(slice lengthwise)
Chilly powder-2 tsp
Coriander powder-1 tsp
Cinnamom,cardamon-3 each
Cloves-2
Star


Method:

1.Heat oil in a pan and add the cinnamom,cardamon,cloves,star and fry it.

2.Add the ginger garlic paste and green chillies and fry it until the raw smell disappears.

3.Add the onions and fry until it becomes transparent.Then add the tomatoes and fry it.

4.Then add the mint and coriander leaves to it and fry it.Then add the chicken pieces and allow it to cook for 3 min.

5.Then add the chilly powder,coriander powder and salt.

6.Add the rice and fry in the pan for about a min and add 3 cups of water to it and mix it until the masala mixes with rice.

7.Then cook the above mixed rice in electric cooker.If pressure cooker is used then put this mix in the pressure cooker and let it for about 3 whistles.
