KEERAI/Spinach PORIYAL
Ingredients:
1.keerai/spinach -1 bunch
2.garlic- 6 pieces
3.salt
5.onion(big)-1/2
6.green chilly-5
7.oil
8.grated coconut-1/2 cup
Method:
1.Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan and season it with mustard and urid dhal and let it spluter . Add the chopped onions to it ans fry it until it turns brown .
2.Add the green chillies(sliced lengthwise) and the garlic and let it fry .Add the chopped spinach it in and add salt and cover it with a lid and let it cook for about 5 min .
3.Sprincle the grated coconut on the spinach and cover the lid and let it cook for a min .
Now the Keerai poriyal is ready to serve with all types of kulambu.
